Spring in Japan is always a time of renewal—and this one feels especially meaningful. The cherry blossoms are here, the energy is shifting, and Healing Land Reiki’s Kyoto center is now celebrating one full year.
Opening our center wasn’t easy. It took a leap of faith,a lot of learning, much hard work and the kind of trust that only builds when you walk step by step, not knowing exactly where it will end up. But what we’ve seen over this past year has made it all worth it.
People have walked through our doors with varying situations, some have been anxious, or just feeling stuck. And again and again, we have watched Reiki help bring clarity to them. We have seen the light of insight shine where things had felt too heavy or unclear. We’ve had the priviage of offering sessions that brought peace after years of tension, or understanding after doubt. And we’ve taught classes that didn’t just introduced Reiki to new students, but opened new paths people hadn’t seen before.
I'm saying this to make everything sound perfect—because it hasn't been that way. Lena and I are learning as we go. But we’re committed and we’re grateful to be able to do this work.
If you’ve received a session or training from us in Kyoto, we’d love to hear from you. What shifted for you? What did Reiki bring into your life?
Share your experience in the comments or send us a message—we might feature your story (with your permission) to help others who are considering taking that first step.
